HTS understands the challenges states face with Health Information Technology. Our team of experts have provided Medicaid Information Technology Architecture (MITA) services to states across the country. Key members of the HTS staff have taken a lead role on MITA nationally as part of the Technical Architecture Review Board. HTS consultants also have direct experience working with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) on several projects related to MITA. HTS is the technical lead on the Medicaid Electronic Health Record Team (MeT) initiative and has contributed to the MITA Toolkit developed for CMS. The HTS team reviews all HITECH planning and implementation documents submitted by states to ensure the submitted documents adhere to MITA and the Seven Conditions & Standards.
HTS consultants combine a unique set of state and federal experience to support states’ strategic Health Information Technology goals. We understand the critical link between strategic vision and the MITA framework to enhanced federal funding. HTS leverages industry leading technologies in conducting MITA assessments, and brings experts to the field with decades of experience in the design, development, and implementation of Health and Human Services systems.
HTS has provided MITA assessments and tools to states nationwide. In Kentucky, HTS worked alongside a Fortune 500 company to complete the first complete MITA assessment in the state, which covered Business, Information, and Technical Architectures as well as the Seven Conditions and Standards. The project was one of the first in the nation to include the MITA 3.0 Eligibility and Enrollment components.
