HTS is currently providing subject matter expertise to the Alaska Department for Health and Human Services for Health Information Technology and the EHR Incentive Payment Program. The project, which focuses on seven specific statewide initiatives, has a goal to expand the reach of health IT across the state of Alaska. With a focus on increasing outreach, marketing and improving the Public Health HIT core infrastructure. HTS provides mission critical assessment of Alaska’s systems for strategic technical improvement.
HTS consultants assist with MITA support efforts including training and outreach to state level stakeholders. Alaska has placed an emphasis on increasing the quality of care across the state through the establishment of an effective CQM program. HTS is providing planning and implementation assistance to the state of Alaska for the development of an improved CQM data solution.
HTS has completed a statewide assessment of the Public Health registry infrastructure and prepared recommendations for how to integrate the registries into a seamless solution; provided subject matter expertise on CMS funding, developed statewide Marketing and Outreach strategic plans, and has developed an improved CQM analytics solution to evaluate CQM data.
